Customer Background:

As a headhunting and recruitment specialist headquartered in the Netherlands, NoMilk2Day’s focus is on connecting organisations and professionals active in agribusiness, food and industry. The company is driven by a concept of shared ambition – making matches between those who maintain the same drive, vision and mindset. Spanning the full spectrum of recruitment, from interim and temporary positions, through to management and C-suite placements, NoMilk2Day maintains a global reach, with offices located in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Challenge:

NoMilk2Day faces two distinct but related challenges. On the one hand, it matches at C-suite level and prides itself on making effective placements based on the shared vision of organisation and professional. Achieving this means understanding the motivations and ideals of both, through deep engagement during interviews. However, NoMilk2Day also deals with issues of quantity and reach; it operates on an international level and also undertakes volume recruitment at the level of interim and temporary placements. These types of matches constitute more breadth than depth and involve repetitive and time-consuming processes – with many hundreds of reports written over a short duration.

The upshot is that NoMilk2Day need assistance with their interviewing process in two ways: deepening the insight gained in higher level interviews and providing an objective basis for qualitative comparison, but at the same time streamlining and optimising report writing  – or indeed, even eliminating it – for high volume interviews.

NoMilk2Day’s list of needs can be summarised thus:

  • To understand candidates on a deeper level, identifying not only strengths, weaknesses, skills and logistical details, but also motivations, values and drivers.
  • To be able to communicate these findings clearly, accurately and objectively, both up and downstream.
  • To reduce or eliminate the time spent on report writing and repetitive tasks, and to create a standardised, automated system which could save time and resources.
  • To integrate these elements with the existing Byner ATS in order to avoid disruption and minimise retraining.

Solution:

In2Dialog provided NoMilk2Day with their enhanced interview tool, which combines best-practice interview practice with a range of validated psychometric recruitment metrics, developed from decades of peer-review research in the academic field. Using AI driven linguistic analysis and semantic extraction, In2Dialog not only records interviews and generates transcripts, but also extracts and arranges key information about candidates for easy reference.

Candidate information is automatically grouped into motivators, competencies and personality qualities, with four key conversational points generated for further discussion in future interviews. However, recruiters can also set their own key criteria, and In2Dialog will extract and present all information from the interview pertaining to those custom-set parameters.

The upshot is that interviewers are entirely relieved of the need to take notes – meaning they can focus their full attention on maintaining meaningful dialogue with their candidate. Moreover, they save significant time and resources because the need to write post-interview reports is eliminated; everything is handled by In2Dialog.

Moreover, the nature of the reports generated is always succinct, consistent, and relevant, presenting like-for-like information on candidates in a standardised format and language. This makes comparing candidates fairer and more objective, especially when candidates are being interviewed by different members of the recruitment team.

Crucially, In2Dialog auto-populates ATS platforms with candidate data, meaning there’s no disruption to an organisation’s existing recruitment workflow. By using objective tools to analyse interviews and standardise reporting, intra- and inter-organisational communication is improved, putting key details in front of relevant stakeholders and allowing for better upstream and downstream collaboration and understanding.

But the In2Dialog platform also works to give deeper insight into the recruitment organisation itself, and not just the candidates it interviews. It opens the ‘black box’ of recruitment, taking the often subjective and unobserved nature of interviews and generating quantitative metrics that allow recruitment managers to understand and benchmark the performance of their team in closer detail, discovering things such as the average length of engagement, the rate of information extraction, the type of questions asked, the dimensions of their speech, and the match and flow maintained with each candidate.

With this data, managers can make informed decisions to tweak their team performance and optimise the results achieved across their team.

Results:

  • The implementation of In2Dialog’s solution led to significant improvements in NoMilk2Day’s recruitment processes. By automating administrative tasks and providing tools for streamlined communication and note-taking, recruiters reduced admin time, which in turn allowed NoMilk2Day to focus on building relationships with candidates during the interviews instead of making notes. On average, recruiters saved 30 minutes per interview in administrative and processing time, leading to a more efficient recruitment process and higher productivity.
  • Use of the In2Dialog platform also generated greater insight during interviews, with improvements in the quality, speed and suitability of candidate matches delivered by NoMilk2Day. Communications – both upstream and downstream – were improved. These factors together provided a clear and tangible advantage over other competitors in the field of recruitment, and secured long term commitment from existing clients.

NoMilk2Day were also pleased to discover additional unexpected advantages that came with the use of In2Dialog, and added value beyond the company’s directly expressed needs; namely, the management insight tools which gave the firm greater understanding of how their interviewers approached the task of interviewing, both individually and as a team. Through this, NoMilk2Day were able to reduce the resources devoted to management oversight, whilst still making incremental adjustments to interview process and technique, ensuring better alignment, consistency and efficacy across the team. The net result was a fairer,  more effective, and better aligned approach to interviewing, delivering a  sharper and more competitive service to clients.
